What is tubing?

Tubing is sliding down our steep tubing slope in an inflatable rubber ring. Tubing is supervised and led by one of our staff members.
 

Do you provide food/a birthday cake?

We do not provide any food or cake but you are welcome to bring food along on the day or deliver it the day before the party. Use of regular candles is fine.
 

What if the weather is bad?

It's better because it's faster! Tubing can go ahead in all weathers but, you may wish to bring other clothes to change into after the activity if it is wet on the day.
 

How many can I invite?

We recommend a minimum of 11 and a maximum of 20. You will have exclusive use of the tubing track as part of your party but if you invite more than 20, they won't get as many shots.
 

Is there a deposit to pay?

We require the full amount to be paid at the time of booking. 
 

What is the minimum age?

The minimum age for tubing is 3 but anyone 5 years old or younger must slide with their supervising adult. Due to a recent change in insurance, we are now no longer able to allow anyone under the age of 3 on tubing. Huge apologies for any inconvenience.
 

Do the adults need to be there?

Yes, at least 1 adult must remain at the party per 10 children. More adults may be required to help carry tubes if the children are very young. Our instructor is there to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves for the 50 minutes of tubing but will not be present in the party hut afterwards. At least one adult must be present to supervise children in the party hut. 
 

How long is the tubing party?

You will have one hour on the slope (50 minutes tubing) followed by one hour in the party hut. 
 

What shall we wear?

All participants must wear long sleeves and long trousers and a pair of trainers or shoes with grip. Smart party clothes are not recommended for taking part in these activities and children may wish to bring a change of clothes in case they get wet out on the slopes.
 

When do we need to arrive?

It's best to put on your invitations that everyone must be there at least 15 minutes prior to the party session starting. This allows time to find a helmet that fits and to have the tubing safety briefing. All of our helmets are sanitised after every use.

Is there a car park?

Yes, we have a car park with plenty of spaces adjacent to the facility.

Is it easy to get there by public transport?

Absolutely! The number 1 bus from Kilmarnock Bus Station will drop you at the bottom of the hill.
