Board Members
Newmilns Snow and Sports Complex is Seeking Trustees to Drive Growth and Community Impact
Newmilns Snow and Sports Complex (NSASC), the UK's only charity-run ski slope, is looking for new trustees to help guide and develop its mission. As a volunteer-led, community-focused social enterprise, NSASC leverages the power of snow sports to promote positive health, well-being, and social change in East Ayrshire.

We a wide range of activities, including skiing, snowboarding, and tubing, as well as developmental programmes like the Ski Academy, which build confidence, resilience, and teamwork among young people. NSASC also provides employability and training opportunities, and all profits are reinvested to support the local community through accessible and inclusive snow sports experiences.

2023 was an outstanding year, with thousands enjoying our expanded range of activities. To meet growing demand, we are seeking passionate and committed individuals to join our board. Your contributions will help us enhance our programmes, expand our facilities, and create new opportunities for fun and learning. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting journey that fosters inclusivity and community spirit.
If you have experience in areas such as strategic development, health & safety, fundraising, people and teams, finance, environment and sustainability, community engagement, or simply share our passion for snow sports and social change, we’d love to hear from you. We have been lucky enough to secure funding from ARIA to develop our brand and reach more people.
We are adventurous, creative and inspire others. We embrace equality and celebrate differences. We have fun and support everyone to be the best they can be and in doing this strive to always add value to our community. These values define the way we work and what we like to see in each other. We also have big plans and would like to offer more than just snow sports so, we needed a brand to reflect this.
